I'm always surprised when I get something that's better than what I had anticipated it would be. this metronome is no exception. very well made very loud and easy to operate. I would recommend this to anyone to help keep their band practicing in time. I don't know about the battery life but I imagine it's pretty good because it's very compact very well built. I would buy it again and probably will if I lose this one.
